Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Beach
A helicopter flying above a popular coastal shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, eventually dropping height and smashing into a line of palm fronds as beachgoers watched.
Videos posted on the internet show the aircraft starting to spin over the shoreline then descending towards the perimeter of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a staircase close to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
Local firefighters stated five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the road were hurt. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.

Officials said the aircraft was linked to an yearly “Cars N Copters” benefit occasion planned for Sunday.
